Nest Egg Studios Inc. is a newly formed independent multimedia studio as of early 2007. The company posses established core management team of professionals with 105 years of combined experience in entertainment and tech business development. The studio has a mission to revolutionize the gaming and multimedia markets by creating a fun, exhilarating, sophisticated entertainment for mature audiences with an emphasis on mature “female” consumers!
Nest Egg Studios Inc is looking to expand our consultant base by sourcing to help push the development of our new "social dating network site", as well as our flagship games visual demo prototype and games graphic novel. Specifically we are looking for those that understand the risk in working in an online startup environment.

Short description of position:
The artists will work with the leads, senior artists, existing concept artists, and will help convert ideas into graphical concepts for the creation of production assets on various projects.
Special skills required:
The artist should have an expert eye for perspective, color, lighting, and atmosphere and the ability to use these skills to properly portray the mood of the concept. Must be dependable, a quick learner, and able to follow directions. You must have an exceptional portfolio, which displays your talents. The role requires strong communication skills and keen attitude to get involved with vision and design. You should possess exceptional classical art skills - preferably in mixed media - as well as excellent computer art proficiency. Storyboarding skills would also be useful.
Additional comments:
The successful applicant(s) will work well within an online team environment (telecommute) and be open to ideas and input of others. The role of the artist will have several areas of emphasis: characters, storyboarding, user-interfaces, and PR /marketing materials.
- Excellent written and verbal english communication skills

- Familiarity with 2D computer paint packages, such as Photoshop or Painter.
- Excellent transition skills
- (preferred) undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in an art-related field.
- Portfolio samples that show 2d concept ability is required.
